Aggregated thematic data and research materials: Anti-vegan focus groups in Greece and the Netherlands

This open-access data package accompanies the article Not on my plate: a cross-cultural qualitative study on anti-vegan sense-making and resistance | Zenodo. The study used two online focus groups with self-identified anti-vegan participants in the Netherlands and Greece to examine how resistance to veganism and plant-based diets is rationalized and shaped by cultural, informational, emotional and normative influences. The package contains a README file, the focus group discussion protocol, the blank participant information and consent form, and an aggregated comparative thematic overview. Full participant-level transcripts are not openly available because full anonymisation cannot be guaranteed for qualitative focus group data. They are stored internally in the EUR Yoda Vault and available for verification purposes. Funded by the European Union under GA no. 101136507.
