Sliding friction of alumina (Al2O3) with friction induced vibrations
收藏资源简介:
Test files containing data on experiments in self mated sliding contact of alumina Al2O3 lubricated with either water or paraffin oil. Tests run in variable load/velocity conditions and with different dynamic settings of the test rig (PT-3 tribometer). The aim of the research was to attempt in finding correlations between the dynamic characteristics of the mechanical system (inertia, rigidity, damping), self excited frictional vibrations and the results of the tribological experiments on sliding friction, especially with regard to monolithic ceramic materials. Data set contains processed measurement files espressed in values reflecting the physical units of the parameters of the test. Data format: Matlab. Each folder contains a single test run (approx. 30 s long) with a short description in a *.txt file (in Polish), containing basic parameters of the test (load, velocity, sampling frequency, inertial parameters of the test set up, lubricant etc.).
