Accountability report on the grants issued in 2017

In accordance with Section 11 of the Budget Act (Land) and Section 12 of the Budget Act (Stadtgemeinde Bremen), the Senate shall provide periodically a report on the contributions under Sections 23, 44 of the Financial Regulation of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen — LHO, in accordance with Sections 11 of the Budgets Act (Land) and Section 12 of the Budget Act (Stadtgemeinde Bremen). Since the individual grants for 2017 have already been published quarterly and therefore much more up-to-date in the Transparency Portal, according to the Senate decision of 10 January 2017, this report focuses for the first time on the development of the grants at the department level as a whole and the result achieved. An overview of the fixed indicators recorded in ZEBRA for the achievement of the objectives of the funding guidelines as well as for the gender key figures are set out in Annex 1. Annex 2 lists the 2016 proofs of use not yet submitted, submitted in full or not yet verified. The irrefutable exceptions to the non-improvement ban for the 2017 grants are summarised in Annex 3.
