Black pepper rhizosphere mycobiome Raw sequence reads

Complex interactions involving soil physicochemical parameters and plant-associated microbial communities determine the health of crops. In Vietnam, this process is poorly understood in the context of black pepper production. For this study, we seek to evaluate and profile Oomycetes and fungal communities associated with the rhizosphere of healthy and unhealthy black pepper orchards. We also investigate their relationships with environmental variables in two Vietnamese provinces.
