Data and code for "Geometric criterion for capillary thread breakup in rectangular microchannels"

This dataset contains the data, simulation files, experimental videos, fabrication files, and custom analysis code supporting the manuscript “Geometric criterion for capillary thread breakup in rectangular microchannels” by Luyao He and Xiaodong Chen. The deposited files include OpenFOAM simulation cases for direct numerical simulations, including stop-flow cases; selected STL files of thread interfaces extracted from OpenFOAM results; Surface Evolver files for static-equilibrium calculations; processed source data for the main-text figures; experimental videos corresponding to Movies S1–S13; MATLAB scripts for neck-radius measurement; and the CAD photomask used for microchannel fabrication. README.md describes the repository structure, software requirements, and reproducibility information. DATA_DICTIONARY.md maps the manuscript figures and supplementary materials to the corresponding deposited files. Please cite this Zenodo record when reusing the data or code.
