SILVA v138_2 Guide Sequences

Files were formatted for use with the phyloguidesR package. Full length 16S rDNA sequences were derived from the Species Living Tree Project (1) (SILVA version 138.2) containing 510,495 sequences which are not more than 99% similar to one another. We chose to utilize a subset of these sequences - previously curated for reference alignment (2). The 138 SILVA database is available under the Create Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-By 4.0).
