State Election 2010: Eastern Metropolitan Region results summary

A recheck is a normal procedure undertaken by an election manager. After the first count of preferences all ballot papers are re-examined and counted again. Scrutineers are entitled to be present and should be aware of any corrected figures. This term should not be confused with the term recount. For an Upper House Region rechecks are conducted on all first preferences cast for each group above the line and the total first preferences cast for candidates within the group below the line. The data is presented by District and further broken down by Voting Centre or vote type

重查（recheck）是选举管理人员实施的常规工作流程。在完成首轮偏好计数后，需对所有选票进行重新核验与再次计票。选举监票员有权到场监督，并应知晓所有更正后的计票数据。该术语不可与重新计票（recount）相混淆。针对上议院选区（Upper House Region），重查需覆盖每一个线上分组的全部首轮偏好投票，以及该线下分组内候选人的总首轮偏好投票。本数据集按选区（District）进行分类，并可进一步按照投票中心（Voting Centre）或投票类型进行细分。
