Transcriptomic data of Lotus japonicus under 10% PEG6000 and heat stress

Lotus japonicus is a perennial herb that serves as forage grass and ground cover plant. In addition, L. japonicus forms a beneficial symbiosis relationship with nitrogen-fixing bacteria, enabling it to utilize atmospheric nitrogen and ultimately improve soil quality. However, the growth of the L. japonicus can be affected by a variety of abiotic stresses, especially drought and heat stresses. In order to uncover the regulatory networks and critical genes underlying the drought and heat stress response in L. japonicus, we carried out transcriptome sequencing.
