Annual Sea-Level Cycle Changes Based on CMIP6 Simulations
收藏资源简介:
This data accompanies the manuscript ‘Future Changes in the Annual Sea-Level Cycle, Hermans et al. (2025). The dataset consists of the historical (1993-2022) and future (2071-2100) range and peak month of the annual sea-level cycle derived from CMIP6 models, for four different emissions scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0 and SSP5-8.5). It also contains seasonal and annual mean projected sea-level change (future minus historical) and observational data to compare the CMIP6 simulations with. The CMIP6-based data is provided at the model level (i.e., the provided data are the averages of all initial-condition members available per model). The code used to produce this data can be found here: https://github.com/Timh37/aslc_intertidal/tree/main. For the production of this dataset, we acknowledge the World Climate Research Programme, which, through its Working Group on Coupled Modelling, coordinated and promoted CMIP6. We thank the climate modeling groups for producing and making available their model output, the Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF) for archiving the data and providing access, and the multiple funding agencies who support CMIP6 and ESGF.580. We also acknowledge the computing and storage resources provided by the ‘NSF Science and Technology Center (STC) Learning the Earth with Artificial intelligence and Physics (LEAP)‘ (Award #2019625).
