The Danish Energy Agency is the competent authority for the collective heat supply, while the municipalities are administrative authority. In accordance with the Heat Supply Act, municipalities are required to record information on the collective heat supply in Plandata.dk. In addition, through the Planning Act, the municipalities are obliged to record information on affiliation obligations laid down in local plans in Plandata.dk.
