COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION FOR LUMBOSACRAL DORSOPATHY IN ELDERLY PATIENTS: EFFICACY, MODALITIES, AND CLINICAL OUTCOMES
收藏资源简介:
Lumbosacral dorsopathy, primarily characterized by chronic low back pain, is a leading cause of functional disability among the elderly. Standard biomedical treatments alone are frequently insufficient to address the complex pathophysiological and psychosocial dimensions of this condition. This article systematically evaluates the efficacy of Multidisciplinary Biopsychosocial Rehabilitation (MBR) and core stabilization exercises in mitigating pain and functional limitations in older adults. Through an analysis of clinical trial methodologies, including randomized controlled trials and waitlist control comparisons, we examine the quantitative improvements in functional tolerance, pain reduction, and psychological adaptation. Our findings, supported by clinical data and advanced Python-based programmatic visualizations, confirm that holistic interventions—combining structured physical therapy, cognitive-behavioral support, and adjunctive modalities—consistently reduce pain intensity and functional disability, offering the most robust pathway to restoring independence in the geriatric population.
