11st Environmental Control Report Environmental Situation in Austria

With the submission of the Environmental Control Report 2016 to the National Council, the Federal Environment Agency fulfils an obligation under the Environmental Control Act. The standard work on the environmental situation in Austria has been published for the eleventh time since 1988. The environmental control report summarises and evaluates data and information on the state and pressures of the environment. The focus of the analysis is on developments over the past three years. The results are evaluated together with measures that have already been implemented, resulting in options for action to improve the environmental situation in Austria. This provides an up-to-date and well-founded basis for decision-making. The 2016 Environmental Control Report is aimed at decision-makers and stakeholders of national environmental policy.
