VPRS 16308 Register of Winding up Orders Under the Companies Act, Self- indexed

This series was created to provide access to winding up orders of the Supreme Court made under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1896 (No 1482) and Companies Act 1900 (No 1645) to wind up companies. The application (for winding up) to the court was by petition presented by the company or by any creditor or members of the company as contributors. (For information on petitions for winding up orders refer to VPRS 16307).The winding up or liquidation of a company was the process by which a company's assets were collected and sold in order to pay its debts. The plaintiff or the applicant was required to file a supporting affidavit with the petition for the winding up of the company by the court.The information recorded includes: number of the winding up order, the number of the petition, the date of petition, date of winding up order, date of public examination (if any), name of liquidator.

本数据集系列旨在提供可查询依据1896年《公司法》（第1482号）与1900年《公司法》（第1645号）作出的最高法院公司清盘令的权限。向法院提出的公司清盘申请，需由作为出资人的公司自身、任一债权人或公司成员以呈请书形式提交。（关于公司清盘令呈请书的相关信息，请参阅VPRS 16307。）公司清盘（Liquidation）系指归集并变卖公司资产以清偿债务的法定程序。原告或申请人需向法院提交配套宣誓证词，以佐证该公司清盘呈请书。本数据集收录的信息包括：清盘令编号、呈请书编号、呈请日期、清盘令作出日期、公开聆讯日期（如适用）以及清算人姓名。
