2018v2 North American Emissions Modeling Platform

The 2018v2 North American Emissions Modeling Platform is based on the 2017 National Emissions Inventory released in the spring of 2020, including updates to specific sectors to represent emissions from 2018. Sectors that reflect 2018-specific emissions include electric generating units and other point sources; wildland, prescribed, and agricultural fires; onroad and nonroad mobile sources; and commercial marine vessels. This platform was created in support of the 2024 particulate matter National Ambient Air Quality Standards (PM NAAQS). The data posted here include emissions for each sector output from SMOKE in a CMAQ format.
