资源简介:
The result of weak random forcing changes (modeled by 0.5 Watt per square meter
changes in insolation) on the modeled North American and Eurasian ice sheets
from 122,000 BP until the present is investigated. The model is that of
Tarasov and Peltier ("Terminating the 100 kyr ice-age cycle", JGR, 102, 21665,
1997) with all parameters and input values barring the above random forcing
left unchanged.
The data presented here is the flux of fresh water delivered to the oceans by
the ice sheets minus the freshwater flux from the unperturbed run (as in
Tarasov and Peltier, above). The ensemble consists of thirty simulations.
Column one of each file is the time in thousands of years (negative = before
present), column two is the anomalous fresh water flux in Sverdrups. Positive
numbers represent a flux to the ocean (corresponding to shrinking ice volume).
