Compiled occurrence dataset of benthic ostracods from the Southwestern Atlantic continental shelf (0–200 m depth, 30–60°S)

This database integrates information from 50 independent sources that document point records of ostracod occurrences on the Argentine continental shelf. The original data come from public databases, scientific articles, and technical reports, and were standardized to build a unified presence–absence matrix. The resulting dataset provides a regional synthesis of benthic ostracod distribution, serving as a baseline for biogeographic and paleoecological analyses.
