Conserving and Promoting Hobart's Bushland Values

This project will deliver significant environmental improvements to bushland areas in the City of Hobart, particularly surrounding the world heritage Cascade Female Factory site, which is greatly valued by the local community. The area has strong conservation values and the project will improve habitat for Nationally and State listed threatened species. Threatening processes managed by this project include weed invasion, habitat loss and erosion. The project will engage strongly with the community through working alongside community groups, planting days, and media coverage wherever possible.
