Strategic Highway Network (STRAHNET)

The STRAHNET is an approximately 64,000 mile network of highways important for defense mobility and deployment of military equipment and personnel. The dataset exists to serve the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) needs in highway planning, policy analysis, and visualization of the STRAHNET database. It is intended for use in understanding and managing the STRAHNET. Also, the dataset is being used by the US DOT to reflect the FHWA-approved technical correction to the STRAHNET
