Coupar Angus To Enochdu Rechargeable Autonomous Nodal (CATERAN) Survey

The CATERAN Survey is a 30km array of nodal and broadband seismometers stretching NW-SE across the Highland Boundary Fault (HBF), northern Scotland. The data collected will help us uncover what role the HBF had in the building of Scotland, determine if it marks a major plate boundary, and investigate any seismicity on the eastern portion of the fault today.
