This is the tephra fall distribution map dataset for a probabilistic evaluation of tephra fall hazard in Japan. This database was created using the database of Suto et al. (2007) (https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/bullgsj/58/9-10/58_261/_article/-char/ja/) with ArcGIS. Detailed method will be published in Journal of Applied Volcanology (Uesawa et al., submitted; https://dx.doi.org/10.21203/rs.2.23106/v1). To create hazard curves, use the scripts at https://github.com/s-uesawa/Prototype-TephraDB-Japan.
