Weekly Influenza-like Illness (ILI) Cases in Region XI, Philippines from July 2019 to March 2023

"This dataset contain the weekly and monthly count of Influenza-like illness cases in Region XI, Philippines from July 2019 to March 2023, collated from the Weekly Disease Surveillance Report published by the Department of Health (can be accessed at https://doh.gov.ph/statistics).

This dataset was prepared and utilized for the undergraduate thesis of Ms. Alyssa Onorario, titled "Multi-step Forecast of Influenza-like Illness Using Long Short Term Memory." Alyssa pursued her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of the Philippines Mindanao. She was under the supervision of Asst. Prof Kim Dianne Ligue, a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science.
