This is the main data and code for a manuscript, Revisiting global coal power plants efficiency gains in delivering climate goals.For the two main models in the manuscript, artificial neural networks and optimization models, check out the MATLAB file in the 'Main codes' folder.The jupyter notebook under the 'Main codes' folder is for processing and analyzing the data results.The 'Main data' folder contains the Global Coal Power Plants Engineering Database and working data.
