Harlan SWOT ADCP data

River discharge, velocity, area, width, and depth data compiled from Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) measurements as part of the NASA Terrestrial Hydrology Program. This data is designed for the Surface Water and Ocean Topography Hydrology Community Discharge (SWOT SHCQ) collection. Data is compiled over three main regions: the Cubango-Okavango River Basin (CORB)), Madagascar, and Canada. This data also includes historic measurements (pre-SWOT), and ADCP measurements on rivers below the 100 m threshold. Data has been collected by hydrologists in The Permanent Okavango River Basin Commission (OKACOM), comprised of the member states of Angola, Namibia, and Botswana, scientists from National Geographic's Okavango Wilderness Project and the Wild Bird Trust (CORB), The University of Antananarivo (Madagascar), Environment Climate Change Canada, in collaboration with Merritt Harlan, and Heather Best (USGS).
