Jiangsu Fertility Intention and Behavior Survey (JFIBS), 2007 and 2010

”Jiangsu Fertility Intention and Behavior Survey (JFIBS)” is designed to study people’s childbearing desire, fertility intention, and childbearing behavior under the local birth planning policy in Jiangsu Province. It aims to understand how social, economic, policy and institutional factors affect people’s fertility decision with a two-wave longitudinal design. The surveys took place in six county/city in three regions of Jiangsu Province in January 2007 and January 2010.
