This file contains the data of all persons aged 18 or over who have received care without residence in the care year whose costs are borne by the AWBZ (General Act on Special Medical Expenses) or the Wmo (Social Support Act) and for which an own contribution has to be paid. Care without residence is care for clients who do not reside in an institution. This concerns care that the client receives by appointment at the care provider, or that the healthcare provider delivers to the client at home. It may include care for the elderly, chronically ill, people with disabilities, people with long-term mental health problems or people who need temporary care. The care used without a stay includes the care in kind for which an own contribution must be paid, without being staying in an institution and the costs of which are borne by the Wmo and/or the AWBZ. — WMO-funded care without residence includes the household care function. — AWBZ-funded care without residence includes the functions of counselling (available from 2011), personal care and nursing.Logeeropvang in an institution with the indication short stay is not included under the use of care without residence, but is covered by the use of care with stay.Persons under 18 years of age do not have to pay their own contribution.The year of care, the care year, deviates from the calendar year. A care year always runs from Monday to Sunday and consists of 13 periods of 4 weeks. Once every 5 years, a care year consists of 12 periods of 4 weeks and 1 period of 5 weeks.The file contains per person and per care period the scope of care per job (household care, personal care, nursing and guidance group) that was received. This file contains only care from persons who have ever been or are still present in the Municipal Basic Administration (GBA).For the use of this file, generic permission has been issued by the data provider, provided that the data provider receives an overview of the investigations carried out. This overview is maintained by the Centre for Policy Statistics. Therefore, before the start of the study, each user should send an e-mail (including at least the global analysis plan) to the Centre for Policy Statistics: [mail address hidden – contact CBS].
