Minas Passage Pyranometer Deployed 2014-10-28

The Kipp and Zonen Pyranometer SP LITE2 126213 was deployed on 2014-10-28 at Minas Passage. The Minas Basin is an inlet of the Bay of Fundy and a sub-basin of the Fundy Basin located in Nova Scotia, Canada. This device is a Pyranometer. Meteorological radiometers measure electromagnetic radiation in the atmosphere. Pyranometers measure broadband solar irradiance on a plane surface. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
