Supplementary Data and Logs for TargetGAN: A generative AI framework for designing plant core promoters with targeted activity

This repository contains the supplementary large data files and logs for the TargetGAN project, which focuses on generating promoter sequences with specific activity levels.Due to GitHub file size limits, these files are hosted here on Figshare. This dataset is intended to be used directly with the source code available on our GitHub repository: https://github.com/xlxianglei/TargetGANDataset Contents:wgan-gp.zip: Contains the trained WGAN-GP model weights, checkpoints, and generated initial samples. Extract to TargetGAN/wgan-gp/.targetgan-logs.zip: Contains the optimization logs and generated sequence outputs from the TargetGAN targeted generation process. Extract to TargetGAN/targetgan-logs/.data_for_plot.zip: Contains the heavy datasets required for reproducing the plots in the Jupyter notebooks (e.g., STARR-seq data, Luciferase analysis, motif enrichment). Extract to TargetGAN/notebooks/data_for_plot/.Supplemental_Dataset.zip: Includes additional natural promoter datasets and supplementary tabular data used in the main study.How to use:Download the .zip files and extract their contents directly into their respective empty directories within your local clone of the TargetGAN GitHub repository to reproduce the results and analyses.
