'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Cape Ferguson Trip 6325.\n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Seawater Intake Temperature at 1.9m on trip 6325 from 19 Nov 2015 through to 27 Nov 2015, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a SBE 38 remote temperature sensor manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 38. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 6325 from 19 Nov 2015 through to 27 Nov 2015, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Turbidity at 1.9m on trip 6325 from 19 Nov 2015 through to 27 Nov 2015, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT. \n\nInstrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 6325 from 19 Nov 2015 through to 27 Nov 2015, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.
