Untitled Item <strong>Eye safety practices and ocular episodes among dentists </strong>

The dental fraternity is highly risked among the health care workers towards eye injuries. Occupational eye injuries emerging due to mechanical, microbiological, and chemical insults results in dysfunctional ability to work with ease among the dental personnel. The major databases like PubMed, Scopus, Clinical Key, and EBSCO were accessed to search relevant articles using MeSH terms and Boolean operators. Articles published in the English language and full articles were included in the final analysis. Based on the overall search of the literature from various databases, it was concluded that eyewear protection among dental clinicians during treatment procedures is mandatory to reduce the incidence of eye infections in them.
