EPA Facility Registry Service - Assessment Cleanup and Redevelopment Exchange System (ACRES)

Overview This layer provides location and facility information for sites found in the Assessment Cleanup and Redevelopment Exchange System (ACRES). ACRES stores information reported by EPA Brownfields grant recipients on Brownfields properties assessed or cleaned up with grant funding, as well as information on Targeted Brownfields Assessments (TBA) performed by EPA Regions. The Facility Registry Service (FRS) provides quality facility data to support EPA's mission of protecting human health and the environment by identifying and geospatially locating facilities, sites, or places subject to environmental regulations of environmental interest. Facility data is improved with geospatial processing of incoming data and data curation tools to provide an integrated, dataset to partners and the public through a variety of methods and products. Feature Layer FRS INTERESTS ACRES: This layer contains detailed location and identification information for environmentally significant facilities, including Brownfields properties assessed or cleaned up using EPA grant funding, as well as sites involved in Targeted Brownfields Assessments conducted by EPA Regions.
