Analytical Dataset for Geospatial and Socioeconomic Inequalities in WASH-Related NTD Environmental Vulnerability in Somalia, SDHS 2020

This repository contains the analytical dataset and supporting materials used in the study: “Geospatial Distribution and Socioeconomic Inequalities of Environmental Risk Factors Associated with Neglected Tropical Disease Vulnerability in Somalia.” The dataset was derived from the 2020 Somalia Demographic and Health Survey (SDHS) household data and includes harmonized variables related to water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), socioeconomic indicators, geospatial classification, and composite environmental risk indices. Variables include household-level indicators of unsafe water exposure, sanitation deprivation, hygiene vulnerability, infrastructure access, and composite neglected tropical disease (NTD) environmental risk measures. All data are fully de-identified and were analyzed in accordance with the DHS Program data use agreement.
