资源简介:
This thesis investigates the metrological and economic efficiency of classifying cotton fiber quality indicators using High Volume Instrument (HVI) systems. The transition from traditional organoleptic (visual) methods to instrumental analysis ensures objectivity, repeatability, and traceability of measurement results. Key factors such as minimizing human error, ensuring compliance with international standards (ASTM D5867, ISO 10306), and integrating HVI data into quality management systems (ISO 9001) are analyzed. The study demonstrates that HVI-based classification reduces fiber loss by 3-5%, optimizes raw material utilization by 15-20%, and provides a price premium of $20–50 per ton on international markets.
