Adipose tissue remodeling during drastic weight loss. Homo sapiens

The main aim of this experiment was to investigate gene expression on human subcutaneous adipose tissue following bariatric surgery. Our questions consisted in understanding how gene expression was linked to clinical parameters of obese patients and whether this drastic weight loss was discriminated this data. Overall design: Total RNA obtained from isolated human subcutaneous adipose tissue of 42 subjects at 2 different time points (0, 1 year), after bariatric surgery.
