Monthly Vegetation Drought Resistance Index (VDRI) for the Yangtze River Basin at 250m Resolution (2000-2022)

This dataset provides monthly maps of the Vegetation Drought Resistance Index (VDRI), a novel, process-orientated indicator designed to comprehensively quantify vegetation drought resistance. The dataset covers the Yangtze River Basin (YRB) from January 2000 to December 2022, with a spatial resolution of 250 meters. The core innovation of VDRI lies in its integration of regional drought characteristics with land surface temperature (LST) and enhanced vegetation index (kNDVI). Compared to traditional indicators, it provides a more robust and mechanistically sound assessment of vegetation response to drought stress.
