<div>The City of Prince George Infrastructure Data Submission Standards (IDSS) Manual describes the submission requirements for CAD data representative of as constructed conditions. Standardized “construction recorded” data submissions are used to automatically update the City of Prince George Geographic Information and Asset Management Systems. This manual is applicable to linear municipal surface infrastructure such as roadworks, sidewalks, trails and paths, and underground infrastructure such as watermain, storm and sanitary sewer systems. The standard also accommodates other items such as street lighting, traffic signals and signs. This manual is not applicable to vertical assets such as public buildings. The City of Prince George IDSS manual outlines standards required for the following workflows associated with surface and underground infrastructure and land development projects:</div><div><ul><li> Collection and reduction of detailed topographic and other pre-design data.</li><li>Creation of pre-design base plans and existing ground surface models.</li><li>Design modeling and drawing production.</li><li>Creation and submission of attributed, construction recorded design model data required for updating City of Prince George asset databases.</li></ul></div><div>The Infrastructure Data Submission Standard is based on the MMCD Infrastructure Data Standards and manifests itself in a City of Prince George MMCD Autodesk Civil 3D drawing template (DWT) file along with a collection of supporting files and catalogs. Constructed asset attribution is accomplished by sourcing Civil 3D object properties (gravity networks) and Map 3D object data tables for manually assigned attributes.</div>
