Black and white photograph showing a young Nigerian girl wearing a patterned traditional outfit at the hospital at Ama Achara run by the Methodist Missionary Society. She wears a wrap around her waist, a matching shirt and a head-wrap (or "gele") in the same fabric. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital.
