Reports of Slovenia after Fukushima

The Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan on 11 March 2011 triggered the need for coordinated action at EU level to identify possible further improvements to nuclear safety. To this end, the European Council of 25 March 2011 concluded that the safety of all nuclear power plants in the EU should be subject to thorough comprehensive and transparent risk and safety assessments, the so-called ‘stress tests’.2011年3月11日发生的日本福岛核事故，催生了欧盟层面开展协调行动的需求，以明确核安全领域可进一步推进的改进举措。为此，2011年3月25日的欧盟理事会通过决议，要求欧盟境内所有核电站的安全均需接受全面、彻底且透明的风险与安全评估，即所谓的“压力测试（stress tests）”。
