Dataset for 3D numerical model of double verging subduction

This repository contains the input and output files for the two simulations presented in the article. The output subdirectory contains .vts and .pvd files. You can visualize the results using Paraview by opening the timeseries-cellfields.pvd file. The simulation shown in figure 3 of the main text is located in the folder suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_LC_6_swarm. The 2D supplementary simulation t is located in suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_LC_6_swarm_2D. The supplementary simulation with weaker crust is located in suppe_marker_cut_noslip_vy0_1em5_6_swarm. The input subdirectory includes all necessary files to rerun the simulations: .opts lists the simulation options used suppe_sed_volume contains the initial geometry suppe3D_volume defines the boundary condition facets densmaps contains the density table Simulations were run using a version of pTatin3D, available at https://github.com/laetitialp/ptatin-gene/
