Data from the study on the trends in knowledge dissemination in Nature papers

These data are used to study interdisciplinary knowledge flow by applying a multi-step citation-diffusion method to Nature articles. Using t-SNE, K-means, and Normalized Mutual Information, we quantify knowledge dissemination across Nature categories and reveal how original categories consolidate and exchange knowledge. The method can be extended to other databases to assess knowledge-dissemination patterns.
