MFM and Simulation Data for Snakes in the Plane

Mumax The input file containing the various parameters and setup for the MuMax3 simulation is given in mumax-snakes.mx3 Experimental data DATA.zip contains the raw data of the MFM micrographs presented in the paper Snakes in the Plane: Controllable Gliders in aNanomagnetic Metamaterial. An overview of the MFM micrographs and the fields applied between imaging is given in data_overview.pptx. The main series of MFM micrographs presented in the paper can be found in the snake-movement folder. 3 series of MFM micrographs showing behaviour when clock fields with equal field strengths, as discussed in the Supplementary information, are given in the equal-field-clocking folder. Of these 3 series, series1 includes the MFM micrographs shown in the Supplementary information. The robustness-folder contains several series of MFM micrographs discussed in the Robustness section, and shown in Supplementary Movies 5-7. Similar series of images are taken for clock fields of four different field strengths, as indicated in the folder names.
