Assessment the effectiveness of assisted phytostabilization

The aim of the reserach was to assess the effectiveness of assisted phytostabilization (compost, halloysite, compost, biochar, zeolite) of metal(-oid)-polluted soil under freezing-thawing conditions (FTC) with Lolium perenne L. as the test plant. The experiment was carried out in soil derived from a post-industrial area characterized by high concentrations of Cu, Pb, Zn, Cr, Hg and As. The metal(-loid) content in plant material (roots, above-ground parts) as well as in the soil was determined using spectrophotometry.
