Usage of digital devices for travel purposes among millennials in the Nordics 2018

Both when researching and booking transportation and accommodation for traveling purposes, millennials in the Nordic countries tended to use their smart phones and computers in 2018. When booking a train ticket, 54 percent of the respondents used their smart phone, but when booking a flight, 83 percent preferred using a computer device. During this period, the usage of tablets, phone calls as well as meeting up in person were not frequent means when the younger generations in the Nordic countries were planning to travel somewhere.
