资源简介:
This dataset includes reef fish community abundances from standardized in-water observational surveys at 784 25 m(^2) plots across eight reefscapes in the Florida Keys, Florida, USA, and co-located Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) derived from photogrammetry used to quantify fine-scale measures of coral reef structural complexity. Fish species are grouped into clusters by four traits related to habitat use (social level, body size, crypsis, activity period) and feeding guild to generate mechanistic insights into fish-habitat relationships. Script to calculate fine-scale complexity metrics from reef DEMs is available in Fukunaga and Burns (2020).
