Reproducibility of TaqMan minor groove binder (MGB) probe fluorescence real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR).

The reproducibility of the Chinese sacbrood virus (CSBV) TaqMan PCR assay was demonstrated by evaluating the variability of the CT values obtained after amplification of 10-fold serial dilutions of the plasmid DNA standard ranging from 101 to 106 copies per reaction in triplicate during the same experiment. The coefficient of variation (CV) of the mean CT values obtained for the DNA standard curve ranged from 0.27 to 1.4%.
