Results of Fisheries Oceanographical Observation

This is the summary of the results of the ocean observations that japanese fishery-related organizations carried out in the sea areas around Japan and North Pacific Ocean. Most of the observations were taken in the sea areas around Japan. The measurement of water temperature and the vertical distibution of salinity has been carried out periodically, every month or several times in a year. This observation has been carried out systematically since 1964. However, the only data available on magnetic media is that which has been completed since 1986.
