Temperature profile and water depth data were collected using BT and XBT casts from the LILOOET and other platforms in the South Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and North / South Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 08 August 1987 to 11 March 1988 by the National Ocean Service (NOS).本数据集包含南太平洋、墨西哥湾及大西洋南北海域中，由LILOOET等平台通过BT（Bathythermograph，温深仪）与XBT（Expendable Bathythermograph，可抛弃式温深仪）剖面测量获取的温度剖面与水深数据。所有数据采集工作由国家海洋服务局（National Ocean Service, NOS）于1987年8月8日至1988年3月11日期间完成。
