Eight-week-old male ICR mice were intraperitoneally injected with streptozotocin (STZ) to establish a diabetic mouse model. A full-thickness skin defect model with a diameter of 6 mm was created on the back using a skin biopsy punch. The NPVs treatment group received topical application of NPVs every 2 days, while the control group was treated with normal saline. Wound tissues were harvested at 6 days post-wounding for transcriptome sequencing.
