Vulnerability Score for Wellhead Protection Areas (VSA GW)

Last data update: March 17, 2023 A polygon layer representing wellhead protection areas around municipal wells, and their relative vulnerability. Wellhead protection areas and their vulnerability are identified by consultants based on groundwater modelling. Wellhead protection areas and their boundaries are delineated following the requirements of the Director Technical Rules for Assessment Reports under the Clean Water Act. Technical reports for each wellhead protection area are available from LSRCA Groundwater Vulnerable Area (or Wellhead Protection Zones - WHPA) with the Vulnerability Scores (0 - 10). This layer is produced by the geospatial intersection of Groundwater Vulnerable Area Zones (or Wellhead Protection Zones - WHPA) and the Intrinsic Vulnerability.
