A price survey conducted across all supermarkets nationwide revealed that the average price of a single roll cake was 1,378 yen in October 2024. During the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a total of 118 months), October 2024 was the month with the highest price for roll cakes at 1,378 yen in supermarkets across the country, while January 2015 was the month with the lowest price at 1,022 yen. The price difference between the peak (October 2024) and the lowest (January 2015) price periods for roll cakes nationwide was 355.8297 yen.
