Accessibility for Disabled Persons at the 2021 Norwegian Parliamentary Election, Interviews

The starting point for the project was that all eligible voters should have the same opportunity to vote in elections and thus influence the development of society. The aim of the project, which was carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation, was to map the extent to which people with disabilities in practice have an equal opportunity to vote, what the municipalities are doing to prepare the polling stations so that all voters can vote, and how the municipal decisions on arrangements and accessibility in the polling stations are made.

The survey consists of three parts and thus three datasets: 1) a survey of all municipalities in Norway; 2) interviews with election officials in 9 selected case municipalities; 3) observations of 27 polling stations in the same 9 case municipalities. This study contains interviews.
